Home staging and redesign do not have to be only for those with lots of expendable cash. Design
I’m a big believer in valuing experiences rather than things, therefore I don’t think you have to have everything brand new or expensive to create and enjoy a space that fits your lifestyle. Chances are, at one time or another, you have bought the things you own because you found beauty in them in some way. I offer new, objective eyes to help you use these things in ways that will allow you to rediscover the love for your home but may also suggest adding a few other reasonably priced items that will tie it all together. I can also help you pick out interior or exterior paint colors or reuse, repurpose, and refinish exisiting furniture to help it fit your style. My specialty is seeing the things that homeowners miss – sometimes something is so familiar it becomes part of the scenery unless someone can see a new use or place for it - the potential or the “what can be.”
Staging
If you are getting ready to sell your home, or you are a realtor looking for some assistance in this area, I will help make the most of your space so that it will strike buyers with an emotional connection and they will want to make a quick offer. My home staging consultations include a thorough assessment and detailed report with a room by room checklist to make sure your home is ready for the market. You don’t have to empty everything out of your house and bring in brand new furniture through a traditional staging company to get your house to sell. Sellers who have followed my suggestions have had multiple offers over asking price the very first day their homes were on the market just by using what they already owned! In a recent survey out of 4,200 staged homes in 2017, 85% of them sold for 6-25% more than unstaged homes. Choosing to stage is well worth the investment!
